Here you will find links to unique outdoor experiences here in New Hampshire. Maybe our classes in Manchester aren't conveniently distanced from where you live, the times don't work for you or they simply don't appeal to you. That's ok! We still want you to get outside and experience all that our beautiful state has to offer. You will find resources for nature classes, team building experiences, camps, nature schools and more.
Since 2008, Manchester Moves has been revitalizing trails, greenways and greenspaces in our community. They are stewarding 'The Bike School Bus" movement and getting over 20 students to school safely each week via "the bike bus." Founded by Charles Martin in 2008, the NH Rail Trails Coalition aims to create accessible rail trails throughout NH that can be enjoyed all four seasons! Find out more about their mission and all that they do here.
The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill offers endless opportunities for families to get outside and explore. It is a 100% volunteer run farm offering free admission, nature play classes, a farm and forest school as well as community gardening opportunities. This woman owned, family run small business out of Pelham NH offers sensory play stations to inspire creativity and open-ended play. Jenna offers beautiful, handcrafted mud kitchens, sensory tables, weaving stations and more. Check out her offerings for indoor + outdoor play, here for your school, park or backyard!
Jocelyn, the lead learner at The Nature Skills Co-Operative, offers experiences that are a blend of nature and essential life skills for both kids and adults. Her programs offer opportunities for hands-on learning including experiences at a working farm, nature based playgroups, a homeschool co-op, and even bread baking classes!
